Default Mounting 1/2" Acrylic to a sheetrock wall

I need to mount several 1/2" acrylic letters cut in a cursive font to a sheetrock wall. The letters range from 10" to 30" high and span about 14 feet. I going to be using sign standoffs. What is the best way to mount them to the sheetrock?

if you do not have blocking you will have to use a zipit or a winged hanger, we like the aluminum type with deep thread
